The West Monroe Fire Department presented its Eighth Annual Fire Prevention and Safety Night on Tuesday, October 14 at the West Monroe fire station, 54 County Route 11, West Monroe. Presentations included the Oswego County Fire Safety Trailer, school bus Safety, rescue and rescue equipment demonstrations, aerial ladder
demonstrations, and finishing the event with a live burn of two cars at the end of the night. The turn-out was very good in spite of cool
weather. There were free snacks and beverages, and door prizes offered as well. It was a fun learning experience for both adults and kids alike.
